Instant Flower Garden Cape Cod Border Mix Flower Garden - The Cape Cod Border Roll combines three (3) colors of Impatiens for an all-time favorite look. From Hyannisport to Provincetown you will see Impatiens gardens gracing the yards of the quaint shingle homes of Cape Cod. Red, pink, and white varieties are included for a winning combination of floral excitement that will last all season. Plant beautiful flowers where you never thought it was possible. There are three (3) varieties of annual flowers (Minimum 200 seeds) that bloom at different times to give you a delightful changing look all summer. As always, a little extra care will insure you have maximum results from your Instant Flower Garden® product.
This Instant Flower Garden Cape Cod Border Mix roll features flower varieties that are excellent for low maintenance and those hard-to-grow, partial shade areas. The Cape Cod Border Mix Flower Garden is one (1) organic, biodegradable, wooden fiber, garden seeded roll that is 4.0 inches wide x 6.0 feet long and consists of three (3) annuals, which grows to 8 to 10 inches (20cm to 25cm). Plant in an area of shade / partial sun (4+ hours of direct sunlight). Comes complete with instructions and a planting guide for different parts of the country.
Instant Flower Garden Cape Cod Border Mix Flower Garden Varieties: Red Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana), Pink Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana), and White Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana).
General Installation and Watering - Simply roll out the seeded mat on prepared loosened soil and water liberally.
Special Considerations - If you prefer, customize your garden. It is so easy. Using scissors, cut the seeded mat roll into any size or shape desired. Or, use a cut section to fill a window box or other container.
Where to Plant - Shade to partial fun. Impatiens do very well in bright shade or dappled shade. In southern, warmer climates, plant in full shade or in the cooler winter months and water routinely.
What I Can Expect - The Instant Flower Garden® Cape Cod Border Roll plants will germinate in about 2 weeks depending upon conditions and soil temperature. Patience is required in this phase. Cool evenings and overcast days can delay germination. Then, after the second set of leaves unfold, some thinning may be necessary to avoid crowding and allow for stronger mature plants. Expect the Cape Cod Border Roll flowers to grow to a height of 8 to 10 inches (20cm - 25cm)and continue blooming throughout the season.
