Yankee Harvest now offers the NEW North Country Wilderness Bells® Collection, shaped like an evergreen tree, these three-toned bells, each with their own distinctive "haunting" bell sound, and are fashioned after names of famous mountains and ranges in our great country. Proudly made in the U.S.A., North Country Wilderness Bells are Yankee handcrafted with quality and care. The steel in the Wilderness Bells® is unlike the North Country buoy bells. They are powder coated with a green texture to endure the harsh New England weather for many years outdoors...! These North Country Wilderness Bells will "patina" as well over time. We show you a picture below of our "NEW" Wilderness Bells® and their descriptions.

Individually handcrafted, every North Country Wind Buoy Bell is shaped and formed from Cor-Ten®, a high grade steel widely used on bridges, guard rails and buildings because it requires no maintenance. Therefore, the bells are designed to hang outdoors year-round in the face of wind and weather. Cor-Ten® will never flake, peel or rust and will never twist, tangle or break. The rich rust color that appears over time only serves to create clearer, more resonant tones. This patina is what preserves and improves the bell's tones over the years. And because the Maine North Country Buoy Bells are specifically crafted to be reminiscent of buoy bells up and down the coast, the result has single, double and triple-toned bells that are sure to become treasured family heirlooms.

These bells are coated with a rugged outdoor paint that will last a long time, but will patina over the years. Quality materials, fine workmanship and family pride ensure these rugged bells will endure for many years to come. If you wish to quiet your bell, grasp the Liberty Bell on the bottom chain and slide the round striker inside the bell up the rod until it wedges tight. Gently pull it down to ring again in the wind.
